Digital Planners and Paper Planners
Is it better to just use Monthly and Weekly digital planners, and paper-based Daily Planners? Somehow, journaling on a device can be tiresome if the smaller screen requires you to regularly swipe the screen from side to side. If you get a larger screen, writing on a smooth surface or even on some kind of screen protector (to simulate paper) still feels different from writing on paper. Writing on a smooth surface is bearable if I will write for only a short while. Typing/blogging makes me wonder if I'll lose out on the cognitive developments which accompany handwriting on paper. Perhaps I can write first on paper, then transfer key information to digital media for better search. Or am I just needlessly increasing my workload?
