Custom Domains and Bear Blog
For some webhost providers where your DNS records are maintained, it's not possible to create a CNAME record for the root domain.
In such cases, the webhost provider's DNS system will require an ALIAS record for the root domain.
For www dot rootdomain, you're required to create a CNAME record (and not an ALIAS record). But if you have previously created or hosted a website in your provider, you'll need to deactivate first that website before you can create a CNAME record for www[.]domainname[.]com for purposes of pointing that custom domain to domain-proxy.bearblog.dev here in Bear Blog.
Will give this 24 hours for dns changes to propagate. 20250917_Wed
